Who are we ???
Mary Busuttil & Ray Harris established gorgeous on 1st November 1999 in Melbourne, Australia.
Our passion for dancing is ongoing, as we were dancers & dance competitors long before we started gorgeous.
There's a world of difference between “cost” & “value” - it's said “quality is remembered” long after “price is forgotten”,
& gorgeous customers receive top quality shoes, clothes memorabilia & other items at very affordable prices.
They're not cheap prices & they're not expensive prices - but they're certainly excellent value for money.
It's no accident that over 80% of our business is from previous customers, referrals & recommendations &

Having a “home-based” showroom helps us to keep our prices very competitive, because we
don't have the crippling overheads that naturally occur with a “traditional shop front”.

STYLES & COLOURS
 Over 150 styles, plus your choice of colours - the most comprehensive  selection of quality two-tone dance & street shoes anywhere in the world.And if your colour preferences are not on our “gorgeous dancin' shoes” page,
then please ask us as
we may still possibly be able to help you.AVAILABILITY
If you multiply 150 plus styles by the possible colour combinations, it equates
to 10's of thousands of individual possibilities - & if you multiply these
possibilities by the sizes - then we're talking "telephone numbers".
Gorgeous can't logistically (or financially) carry such huge stocks, although we do carry a good inventory of the "most-ordered" styles & colours.
DELIVERY
It can take 4 - 6 weeks for your shoes to be made in non-stock styles/colours,
although it's usually much quicker - that's the bad news out of the way.
The good news is the shoes are fabulous in both style & quality & you'll
soon discover that they're "worth the wait".
WEARABILITY
With only 2 exceptions, ALL gorgeous shoes are suitable for outdoors wear.
If you want to carry them in a little bag to dances & classes, then that's
quite OK - but you don't have to, if you don't want to.
SHOE SIZES
All sizes for the gorgeous shoes range are shown on our site in BLACK,
refer to the "shoes conversion chart" for your local sizes.
COLOURS
"Bleyer", "Alexi", “Danstep & "Rockabillity" are different manufacturers
with different sources, so not all colours are universally available.

Our Gorgeous Shirts
A great many rock 'n' roll, rockabilly & swing dancers, competitors, bands &
performers all over the world are now wearing our gorgeous shirts.
And a growing number of hotrod enthusiasts, rally teams & racing car and
bike teams are also now making the choice of wearing our gorgeous shirts.
Like their amazing cars & bikes, these shirts are fully “customisable”.
They can be made completely to your requirements - in your design, & in
your choice of colours - (& there's over 60 great colours to choose from).
These fabulous shirts certainly help you to “stand out from the crowd”.
We can make them in matching designs for the "gals", so that the ladies don't

Our Clothing Range
With a range of over 250 garments, it's virtually impossible to list all the individual prices, especially
when the differing garment styles, fabrics, trimmings, & sizes are all “part of the equation”.
Because Mary makes most clothing lines on a "to order" basis, there's no formal catalogue or price

card numbers into three "segments" & then send the segments to us in three separate emails.

Although every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, the charts below are only a general guide.
As with clothing sizes, shoe sizes can & frequently vary with differing manufacturers, styles,
designs, etc - & can sometimes result in a wide variance in fittings.
Additionally, interpretations in so-called 'standard' sizes for each Country means that 100% accuracy
is effectively unattainable & we suggest that a half-size 'larger' is usually your best option if
you're unsure - & if there is any 'slack', this can be corrected with a quality inner sole...
